Melissa Laird was born and raised in Woodstock, NB. She is close to her family and friends. Some of her hobbies include crocheting and weaving. After graduating from high school she confidently knew massage therapy was what she wanted to pursue. Melissa is a multi-certified massage therapist who has been successfully treating all ages and conditions since she graduated in 2006. She has diligently been expanding her techniques by continuing education in a wide range of disciplines. Her passion for helping people ease their discomfort motivates her to make each person’s treatment plan as individual as they are, using a variety of techniques acquired through many years of practice.
While Melissa spent many years tailoring her treatments to women during their pregnancies, TMJ therapy is her specialty. Treating people with jaw pain is both satisfying and challenging work that she enjoys. Through her use of deep tissue treatments and trigger point therapy, many people have experienced relief from pain and migraines.
